Creating a Life to Love:The Mentoring Process Revealed

yesyoucan

People ask me all the time….”What is it that you DO with your clients?”  The bottom line is that we create a personal strategic plan for their lives. It’s based on their God-given strengths and talents…..and on what each client values MOST.  Every person is completely different with varying reasons for wanting to move forward with their lives.  Every dear heart that walks through my door has one thing in common—they are endlessly fascinating.

The mentoring work I do is all about gaining C L A R I T Y.  That’s first.  Then, creating the A C T I O N that’s right for you, comes next.  It really IS that simple.  And, it really IS that do-able.

The easiest way to explain the process is just to give you an inside look at the steps we take together:

Step 1.   IDENTIFY AND EMBRACE YOUR GOD-GIVEN STRENGTHS & TALENTS.

What’s RIGHT with you?

Step 2.  IDENTIFY AND EMBRACE YOUR VALUES.

What REALLY matters most to you?

Step 3.  IDENTIFY AND EMBRACE YOUR BELIEFS.

Which ones move you forward?  We focus on the positive.  I am a firm believer in the idea of whatever we are focusing on—-gains momentum, exponentially.

Step 4.  VISIONEERING.  YOUR DREAMS TAKE SHAPE.

Seeing your own “big” picture, clearly.  This is where we start to put your strengths and talents into action as a filter for your highest good.

STEP 5.  CREATING YOUR OWN UNIQUE PLAN OF ACTION.

Setting achievable goals, creating specific steps and benchmarks based on your innate gifts.

STEP 6.  COURSE CORRECTIONS.  FINE TUNING YOUR SUCCESS.

Every plan needs its “tweaks”.  This is a great time for becoming more discerning.

STEP 7.  SAVORING YOUR SUCCESSES.  CELEBRATING YOUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS.

This is a step in the “manifesting” process that is often overlooked—because most of time, we are checking items off our TO DO lists, rushing on to “NEXT”.  We forget to SAVOR.  Looking back to see how far you’ve come is one of the most critical and enjoyable pieces in this whole process.   This is the important “inner mortar” that seals the deal.  Savoring and celebrating is invaluable time which honors YOU and your path….and your commitment to finding the best in yourself.

This is where you get to toot your own horn because YOU have accomplished something that few people ever take the time or energy to do.  You get to be your own hero.  There is a horn at my office—-it has a big red bulb with hundreds of wildly colorful streamers.  No kidding….it’s a regular “toot-fest” at my place.  I highly encourage your being thrilled with yourself.  “Tooting your horn” takes place all throughout the process.

Even though crafting/creating your best life IS serious business…….we still have a lot of fun.
