Your best possible life. 5 guarantees for success. Rule #2

We all deserve to have the best life possible.  In Rule #1 we talked about creating a vision for what that might look AND feel like.

Now, let’s talk about what it will take to begin turning that vision into reality.

Rule #2.  Believe in your ability to figure things out.

This requires embracing the power of three words, “I don’t know.”

It is about being willing to ask for help.

It’s really about being willing to play the game……Hide and Go Seek…..Adult version.

Finding new people who CAN help and who will support our efforts, these days, is as close as our keyboard. We have unlimited access to amazing resources. Did you know there are people who love to do the very thing you hate to do?  That they are total pros, ready and willing to step in, might just feel like you are in the middle of a miracle, sitting at your kitchen table in your p.j.’s.

It is about being willing to learn.

“Learning” means being willing to be “not so hot” for a while.  One of the most important things to learn is to be able to say, “I suck at this” and laugh at yourself.  One day, that feeling will vanish.  Learning means hearing the gears grinding in our heads, reminding us that abs are not the only muscle that needs a work-out.

It is about being open to the process of things unfolding, being prepared for frustration and fascination, and exercising the faith that will be needed to fill in the gaps between “here” and “there”.

Believing in your ability to figure things out is the forerunner to authentic self-confidence.

To say, “I don’t know how, but I will figure this out.” is a vote from the inner core, for courage and progress.

The pay off is this: Widening your net.  Activating your creativity and resourcefulness.  Increasing your knowledge.  Encouraging your appreciation of others.  Energizing your daily life.  Developing your focus.  And propelling your vision.
